REFUND POLICY

1. INTRODUCTION
This Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs all payments, subscription purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refund requests made in connection with the Sanskriti OTT Platform, including its website, applications, smart television applications, and associated digital services (collectively, the “Platform”), operated by Sanskriti Vinimaya Inc. (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
This Policy forms an integral part of the Terms of Use and shall be read in conjunction with the Privacy Policy. By purchasing, activating, renewing, or using any Subscription or paid Service on the Platform, you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) acknowledge and agree to be legally bound by this Policy.
2. GENERAL PRINCIPLE OF PAYMENT FINALITY
All payments made towards any Subscription, membership, pay-per-view content, premium feature, bundled offering, promotional plan, or any other paid Service available on the Platform are final, binding, non-cancellable, non-transferable, and non-refundable, except as expressly provided under this Policy or as otherwise required under applicable law.
Once a Subscription has been successfully activated or access to paid Content or Services has been granted, no refund, reversal, adjustment, or credit shall ordinarily be issued for:
partial usage of the Subscription;
non-usage of the Platform;
dissatisfaction with available Content;
change of preference or personal circumstances;
accidental failure to cancel auto-renewal before the billing date;
inability to use the Platform due to device incompatibility;
internet or connectivity issues;
geographical restrictions;
third-party platform or application store restrictions; or
any interruption arising from events beyond the reasonable control of the Company.
3. LIMITED EXCEPTIONS WHERE REFUNDS MAY BE CONSIDERED
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Company may, at its sole and absolute discretion, review and consider refund requests only under the following limited circumstances:
(a) Duplicate Transactions
Where you have been charged more than once for the same Subscription period due to a technical or payment processing error.
(b) Incorrect Billing
Where the amount debited materially differs from the pricing displayed at the time of purchase due to a verifiable system error attributable to the Company.
(c) Technical Failure Attributable to the Company
Where there is a prolonged, continuous, and material inability to access core paid Services solely due to a technical failure directly attributable to the Company’s systems, excluding failures caused by:
internet connectivity;
device limitations;
operating system restrictions;
third-party application stores;
telecom provider disruptions;
force majeure events; or
user-side configurations or misuse.
(d) Unauthorized Transactions
Where a payment was made without your authorization, subject to:
prompt written notification;
successful verification;
applicable banking or payment gateway procedures; and
compliance with applicable law.
The Company reserves the right to require additional documentation, proof of payment, transaction references, screenshots, banking confirmations, identity verification, or any other supporting material necessary for investigation.
4. REFUND REQUEST PROCEDURE
Any refund request must be submitted by emailing the Company at:

The request must include:
registered email address or account details;
transaction ID;
payment date;
Subscription plan purchased;
description of the issue;
supporting evidence or screenshots; and
any other information reasonably requested by the Company.
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 (seven) days from the date of the relevant transaction or occurrence of the issue giving rise to the request. Requests submitted after this period may not be considered.
5. REVIEW AND DECISION
All refund requests shall be subject to internal verification, technical review, payment reconciliation, and fraud prevention checks.
The Company reserves the exclusive right to:
approve or reject any request;
seek further clarification;
partially approve claims where appropriate; or
deny requests that are incomplete, unverifiable, abusive, fraudulent, or inconsistent with this Policy.
The Company’s determination regarding refund eligibility shall be final and binding.
6. MODE AND TIMELINE OF REFUND
Where a refund is approved:
the refund shall ordinarily be processed to the original payment method used for the transaction;
timelines shall depend on the relevant payment gateway, bank, card network, UPI provider, or financial institution;
the Company shall not be responsible for delays caused by third-party payment systems; and
no interest, compensation, damages, or additional liability shall accrue on the refunded amount.
Refund processing timelines may vary depending on the payment instrument and banking systems involved.
7. SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATION AND AUTO-RENEWAL
Users may cancel auto-renewal of their Subscription at any time through the account settings or applicable third-party billing platform.
Cancellation:
shall operate prospectively only;
shall prevent future billing cycles; and
shall not entitle the User to any refund or prorated reimbursement for the remaining subscription period already paid for.
Following cancellation, access to paid Services shall continue until expiry of the active billing period unless otherwise terminated in accordance with the Terms of Use.
8. THIRD-PARTY BILLING PLATFORMS
Where Subscriptions are purchased through third-party platforms or marketplaces, including but not limited to:
Apple App Store;
Google Play Store;
smart TV marketplaces; or
telecom or bundled subscription partners,
such purchases may additionally be governed by the refund and billing policies of those third parties.
The Company shall not be responsible for:
refund decisions made by such platforms;
payment processing delays;
third-party deductions; or
external billing disputes.
Users may be required to contact the relevant third-party billing provider directly.
9. FRAUDULENT OR ABUSIVE CLAIMS
The Company reserves the right to:
reject fraudulent, repetitive, abusive, or bad-faith refund claims;
suspend or terminate associated accounts; and
initiate appropriate legal or technical enforcement measures where misuse, chargeback abuse, payment fraud, or policy manipulation is suspected.
10. MODIFICATION OF POLICY
The Company reserves the right to amend, revise, modify, or update this Refund Policy at any time at its sole discretion. Any changes shall become effective upon publication on the Platform unless otherwise specified.
Continued use of the Platform following such modification shall constitute acceptance of the revised Policy.
11. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
